I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge their 2024 open show, I had a wonderful afternoon assessing a lovely entry of top quality Norwich Terriers. Thank you to all the exhibitors who entered their dogs for me to assess. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my stewards who made my appointment run so smoothly.

MPD (5,0) 1. Inett & Harrison’s Carradine Castaway, promising Black & Tan with lovely head, good length of neck leading into well laid shoulders. Well proportioned body. Moved and showed well.
2. Crawley’s Ragus Lazy Sunday Afternoon, just 6 months and in a stubborn mood today! Very appealing head and expression. In lovely coat. Moved well when he got going.

PD (2,0) 1. Crawley’s Rivale Beyond Whip Ma Wop (Imp Fin), Lovely head, dark eye, neat ears and correct bite. Well-made quarters and nice spring of rib. Moving and showing well.
2. Thompson-Morgan’s Tinkave Vibe Setter At Belleville (NAF), Appealing head. Presented and showing well. Preferred the movement of my winner today.
JD (2,0) 1. Inett, Harrison, Page & Crawley’s Winflash Feather Furever, Masculine head and expression with correct bite. Nice length of neck leading to short back. Moved well.
2nd Darkins & Darkins’s Ragus Sand Marten, correctly proportioned head with appealing expression. Well sprung ribs. Preferred the front movement of 1st.
ND (2,0) 1. Crawley’s Ragus Putting On The Ritz, Impressive young male. Correctly proportioned head with lovely dark eye, well placed ears and correct bite. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders. Well made quarters. Deep chest, super topline and tail set. Moved soundly round the ring with great stride and presence. RBD, BPD.
2. Ostermann & Smith’s Ragus Pearl Fisher, Well-proportioned head with dark eye and well set ears. Moved well but preferred the front of 1st.
PGD (1,0) 1. Haynes & Crawley’s Ragus Fine Old Port, beautifully presented wheaten. Lovely head and expression with strong muzzle, dark eye and well placed ears. Short back and good spring of rib. Moved ok.
LD (3,1) 1. Inett, Harrison & Crawley’s Ragus Silver Gilt, Lovely dark eye, correct bite and well placed ears. Good spring of rib and short loin. Level topline with good tail set. Moved well with real drive.
2. Morris & Reid’s Brickin Blame The Game, masculine expression with nice dark eye and neat ears. Well presented. Good tail set. Moved well but not the drive of 1st.
OD (1,0) 1. Crawley’s Ragus War Paint, what a stunner. Very handsome well-made male. Correctly proportioned head, dark eye, good bite and well set ears. Nice length of neck leading to well laid shoulders. Balanced quarters, short back and well spring ribs. Beautiful coat, well presented. Moved soundly with drive front and back. I loved him. BD, BIS.

VD (2,1) 1. Ackling’s Ch Kreatin Extra Factor, Beautifully presented 7 year old. In great coat and condition. Lovely head and expression with dark eye and well set ears. Moving and showing well. BVIS
MPB (3,1) 1. Haynes & Prior’s Port In A Storm, Correctly proportioned head with good ear placement and dark eye. Well made quarters and nice spring of rib. Moving soundly when settled.
2nd Armstrong & Egginton’s Elantiz The Seasons Diamond, cute black and tan with most appealing head and expression. Preferred the movement of my winner today.
PB (4,0) 1. Lazenby’s Tinkave Summer Vibes, I fell in love with this gorgeous puppy. Beautiful head and expression with dark eye, well placed ears and correct bite. Lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Good spring of rib, short back and correct tail set. Moved sounded with drive on well-made quarters. Such a steady puppy showing herself off for BPIS.

JB (6,1) 1. Graves’ Pipsacre Along Came Polly, correctly proportioned head with appealing expression, dark oval eyes and neat ears. Nice length of neck into well laid shoulders. Good spring of rib and level topline. In lovely coat of correct texture. Moved soundly front and back. RBB
2. Armstrong & Lawrance’s Elantiz Autumnal Spice, smart bitch a little short on coat today. Appealing head and expression, good length of neck and well spring rib. Moved well front and back but would have liked more angulation.

2nd Darkins & Darkins’s Trutillian Ulysses. Lovely dark eye and correctly textured coat. Not showing herself off to advantage today.
PGB (4,1) 1. Smith’s Javidel Pillow Talk, Pretty head and expression with dark eye and good bite. Well proportioned throughout with good spring of rib. Moved soundly both ways.

LB (3,2) 1. Graves’ Pipsacre Spring Tide, presented in gorgeous coat. Well proportioned head with good bite and well placed ears. Good length of neck and well spring ribs. Moved well front and back.
OB (2,0) 1. Hitchen’s Ch Kreatin Truly Extra, beautifully proportioned bitch throughout. Attractive head with dark oval eyes and neat ears. Strong neck leading into well laid shoulders. Well sprung rib, short back and correct tail set. Well-presented in lovely coat. Moved soundly both ways. BB
2. Tate & Dragon’s Ch Jaeva In The Purple, smart black and tan. Nice head with dark eye. Good length of neck in to well laid shoulder. Nice spring of rib but longer in back than 1st. Moved well, showed and presented beautifully.
SBB (2,0) 1. Haynes’s Alantro Regal Jewel, nicely proportioned head with dark eye. Lovely jacket and correct tail set. Moved soundly both ways. Really showed herself off well today. BSBB

VB (1,0) 1. Martin’s Tinkave Brown Eyed Girl at Kirmir, 10 year old with very pretty head and expression. Moved soundly both ways, obviously still enjoying her time in the ring.
