The Show Certificate of Merit Award (ShCM) In 2003 The Kennel Club introduced a new qualification, the Show Certificate of Merit, in order to encourage exhibitors to attend Open Shows. Dogs can win points for BOB or Best Unclassified, Group placings and BIS awards at Open Shows. In all, 25 points must be obtained, and the way the system works means that a minimum of five points must be won in Group competition (Multi-Group Shows only). The title "ShCM" may be used after the name of the dog on show entries and catalogues |
